Granhammar

Today we drove to Gårdsmejeri Ostbiten and Ateljé Norrgården i Granhammar outside Örebro. It's a wonderful place, both if you love yarn and cheese, but also if you love  crafts in general. But you can just go there and thake a coffee break.

No yarn shopping this time but I bought Jeaba colours, some cheese, a book and some other things.

Garage sale bargains

On Thursday we were at Pingstkyrkans garage sale. There I found these bargains:

Several embroderys complete with yarn. From 15: and up to 50:- which is very cheap for complete embroderys.

I also have started with a new pair of socks in sock yarn leftovers. The pattern is from Drops design. Irish dream:

It has been a long time since last update but I'm still alive.
I've been a month i Australia (Hyden WA), visiting my daughter and grandchilds. It was wonderful to be there but now I'm home in the swedish summer again. Here are some photos from this month, both knitting related and non knitting related:

Still in the sock swamp:-)

I'm still in the sock swamp, but at least I've knitted something else then socks to.
This time I have a cap for our grandchild to show you:

Pattern: None, just improvised
Yarn: Drops Fabel
Needles: 2.5mm

And from the leftovers from this cap and some other leftovers I also knitted her a pair of socks:

Pattern: Just Spring. I didn't knit the ruffles and picot bind off. And I also skipped the beads as I wanted the socks to be machine washable.
Yarn: as I said many leftovers
Needles: 2.5mm

And a pair of Socks for the February Challenge in the SKA group on Ravlery:

Pattern: Dreher socks
Yarn: Drops Fabel
Needles: 2mm

And last of all the challenge i the Sweduch group on Ravelry:

Pattern: Hat heel socks
Yarn: Many leftovers
Needles: 2.mm
Notions: Interesting way to knit socks as you start with the heel, but I don't think I will do it again.

And at last I've sewn in all threads on the Tindra gloves. So here they are:

Pattern: Tindra
Yarn: Sandnes Garn Strömpegarn plus some leftovers
Needles: 2mm

And I also have bought two new books:
Sock knitting, master class, a book I've been looking atfor a long time. The second book is Medieval-Inspired Knits, also a book I've been wanting to have for a long time.
